Launch the media gallery 1 playerThe March Reader of the Month is Mina Ivarson. Her favorite series include The Hunger Games, Ranger's Apprentice, Wing Feather Saga, and Scythe.
Mrs. Riley nominated Mina for her love of reading which she shows each day. She immerses herself in high interest and challenging books and has read many this year. The seventh grade students were challenged to read one million words by the end of the year, and Mina hit that goal by the end of quarter 1. She averages 1-2 books each week. The Reader of the Month is a joint collaboration between the Middle School and the Cherokee Public Library. Mina will receive a gift card to the Book Vine (courtesy of the Friends of the Library) as well as a journal to keep track of the books that she has read. Congratulations Mina!
