Cherokee Washington High School National Honor Society Induction
On Monday, November 18, 2024 18 new members were inducted into the CWHS National Honor Society. NHS is a group of students whose mission is supporting the community and making an impact on others. The four pillars of NHS are Scholarship, Leadership, Service and Character. This year the NHS group has planned some great service projects. In December they are partnering with all the Nursing Homes in town to do a holiday activity as well as reading Holiday books to elementary classes. This spring they are continuing the tradition of the Cut-A-Thon! This will be the 4th time this organization has done the Cut-A-Thon in Cherokee.
